There is an acceptable temperature range for vaccine storage in scientific refrigerators. The temperature range differs depending on the category of vaccine. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention mandates that refrigerated vaccines must be kept at 40 degrees Fahrenheit, whereas frozen vaccines must be kept at temperatures between -58 to 5 degrees Fahrenheit.

Vaccine storage refrigerators must be reliable. The health and safety of countless patients depends on a vaccine refrigerator’s ability to maintain a specific temperature. Keeping an eye on the temperature changes or fluctuations of unreliable scientific refrigerators is doable but inadvisable. It is much better to use a trusted brand when storing vaccines.
